The Brief

Malayalam is a banana chips brand from Kerala that needed an identity as vibrant and authentic as the product itself. In a crowded snack market, they needed a look that would stand out on shelf, connect with local consumers, and translate to packaging.

Our Approach

  • Created a distinctive circular mark with hand-drawn typography — playful and warm, referencing Kerala food culture
  • Built a bold yellow and dark brown colour system that communicates freshness and authenticity
