The Brief

Nammude Kasaragod (meaning "Our Kasaragod") needed a tourism brand identity that could represent the district's unique multicultural character — known as "Little India" for its diversity of languages, communities and traditions. The brand needed to work across outdoor hoardings, merchandise and digital platforms.

Our Approach

  • Created a distinctive logomark combining a fort silhouette, coconut palm and water elements — representing Kasaragod's natural and historical heritage
  • Developed bilingual wordmarks in Malayalam, Kannada and English to reflect the district's linguistic diversity
  • Built a natural, earthy colour palette referencing the region's landscapes
  • Designed outdoor hoarding applications and merchandise (T-shirts, caps) for tourism promotion

The Result

A regional identity that Kasaragod residents are proud to wear — and that tells the district's unique multicultural story at a glance.
